First D.J.: But you know, there's a reason why today is especially exciting.
Second D.J.: Especially cold!
First D.J.: Especially cold, okay, but the big question on everybody's lips...
Second D.J.: - On their chapped lips...
First D.J.: - On their chapped lips, right. Do ya think Phil is gonna come out and see his shadow?
Second D.J.: Punxsutawney Phil!
First D.J.: That's right, woodchuck-chuckers - it's
First D.J.: GROUNDHOG DAY!
Second D.J.: GROUNDHOG DAY!
Now for those who have been stuck in a burrow waiting for winter to end...Bad news. Phil saw his shadow today. That means 6 more weeks of winter. But to quote a reporter from Calgary, Canada:
"And the idea of six more weeks of winter as a worst-case scenario? You know very well that come Victoria Day* we will probably still have excellent tobogganing to look forward to, and that's still more than 15 frozen weeks in the future. "-- from Kevin Brooker, Calgary Herald
*celebrated on the last Monday before or on May 24th
I wonder who would heed anything Pardon Me Pete, Tampa's giant squirrel, would predict. Do they even have winter in Florida?
More Groundhog Day tidbits...

Happy Whistling Pig Day!
A groundhog's favorite meal is clover. This picture makes him look so cute!
Byeeeee. See you next year! Or maybe tomorrow if tomorrow ever comes...

That was a cool Ground Hog thing going. I do want to make that trip with my boys someday.
I almost used that quote at the end as the title of my last post. It was one or the other! Thanks for the card, I did get it and we will use it!
