And I Am Telling You...: The Three Doctors at Douglass High School

Students from Emerson High School went to Douglass High School, another Oklahoma City high school, to hear the Three Doctors speak today. I did not go but I sent my camera with one of my students whom I have known for years and had her take these pictures.

These are the three doctors from Newark, New Jersey, who made the news when they made a pact to all become doctors and accomplished that goal. They wrote a book called The Pact which was a New York Times bestseller. They have appeared on the Today Show and Oprah Winfrey and other shows. They also wrote the book We Beat the Streets for young people, which is the one my students read. And their latest book is The Bond which is about their relationships with their absent fathers.
