Gracie playing the Banjo

Gracie playing some Christmas music on her new banjo at Mary Alice and Henry's house.

Last summer Carolyn and Gracie played a duet at Mary Alice and Henry's cookout.

More flowers from Japan--Sera Highland Farm

Out of hundreds of pictures of tulips I chose a few to add to my blog. Thanks again to Isao.

If you have tulips you must have a windmill.
Even in Japan!

Just a small part of the rainbow of tulips.

Can anyone identify these flowers? I don't think they are tulips!!! The stems look like poppies and they were with the poppy pictures.

These are not tulips or poppies. I like this picture, Isao.

Pictures from Japan, Thanks to Isao

Poppies from the fields in the title picture above.

Apparently this is a flower farm in Japan. This area is planted with mostly poppies but a few other flowers as well. In my next post I will show some of the over 500 pictures he sent me of tulips!

You MUST click for a close up of this picture!

The following pictures are from the Flower Festival Parade in Hiroshima.

There were a lot of baton twirlers and bands in this parade and this cute drummer.

Girl and her trombone!

Click on this one for a closer look.

I wonder what these women and that man are doing...???

Cute guy.

Nice hair on this one.

Maybe they are scaring away the evil spirits.

These fish were not in the parade but Isao sent them to me a few years ago.

More flowers from Oklahoma City

These flowers are in the front yard on a corner about a block up on 31st Street. I just had to stop and take pictures of them.

I should probably have an overall picture of them to show you how the entire front yard is full of flowers.
The owner of this house came out when I was there and told me to stop and get some of the Poppy seeds when they were ready.

Ok, so these are not flowers...these are Canada geese that were outside Jimmy's Egg when I went there on Saturday. Yesterday was the first day without rain we had in over 2 weeks (16 days I think is what they said). But I am lying. It was sunny yesterday but we had tornado warnings late in the evening and the sirens went off for Oklahoma county after 10 and then again about 11 pm and we actually did have rain yesterday. Anyway the point is that it has been duck weather for a long time here and there are lots of little ponds all over the place.
